The BC Lions will be in our den during our regular practice time (well, at least one player will be!)
The BC Lions are proud to present Punt, Pass & Kick, a program designed to provide an opportunity for amateur football players to test their skills in punting, passing and kicking while reinforcing their love of football. This is a fun event for the players with an opportunity to win a chance at using their skills at a Lions game.
On September 28th, the UBC Thunderbirds will recognize their game against the University of Alberta as a Community Day. The game will be organized and promoted to showcase the numerous community programs, athletes, and coaches.
There is a special reduced rate of $5 per ticket for teams who are able to commit to 25 tickets (per age group team) or 200 tickets as an organization. We ask all Raiders to let us know if we have enough interest by clicking on this link: www.raidersfootball.ca/ubc no later than Sept 3rd.
If individual teams are able to purchase 25 tickets, the Richmond Raiders will be acknowledged with:
Be allowed on the field for pre-game warm-up.
Have their team logos added to the pre-game video loop and be displayed on the big screen.
Be addressed by the Head Coach of UBC
Have the opportunity to participate in one of three half time – mini games.
Be part of the “team picture” with the Thunderbirds immediately following the game.
Please confirm interest in attending no later than September 3rd.
With the season opener fast approaching we still have spots available for our Atom division (ages 8 & 9) we want to extend any invite for Thursday August 22nd 6:00-7:30 at the minoru field (inside the track) to come try football and meet the coaches. All new participants will receive a Raiders Football bag for attending along with snack and drink at the end of the event. All you need is cleats or runners to participate.

There will be plenty to eat and for our carnival snack loving friends...there will be popcorn, cotton candy and mini doughnuts.
Once you’re full you can cheer on your very own Raiders Coaches in the coaches flag football mini-tournament!
The Richmond Raiders invite you and your friends to come out for a free event and try out the excitement of youth minor football. Our coaches will be there teaching fundamentals, running fun drills, and answering any questions you may have.
This is open to ages 5 to 18 and open to any level of football experience. Every season starts with brand new players and we love introducing kids to the sport.
