Players Code of Conduct

Youth sport plays an important role in promoting physical, emotional, and social development of young people, who can recognize choices, think about consequences and base their actions on that information.  The RMFL, therefore, expects its young athletes to embrace the values of good sportsmanship. The RMFL is committed to establishing an environment that is safe and fosters optimal learning opportunities for all our players.
The RMFL requires that you commit to be responsible for your words and actions on and off the field, whether at practice or at games, home or away.
Listed below is a code of conduct which should be followed.

• I will treat everyone whom I encounter with respect
• I will not engage in any unsportsmanlike conduct or behaviour with a coach, team mate, opponent, parent, spectator, or game official.
• I will not engage in any behaviour that would cause harm to a coach, team mate, opponent, parent, spectator, or game official.
• I will not use drugs, alcohol, or tobacco while involved in any football activities, whether practicing or attending games.
• I will not use profanity, obscenities, or any other offensive language at any time
• I will not engage in any verbal or physical abuse of any coach, team mate, opponent, parent, spectator, or game official

Failing to conform to any part of the above will result in disciplinary actions by the RMFL
